I've been vacationing in the mountains of Canada for the past few days and was hoping to encounter a variety of birds. To my disappointment only a puffed Grouse and many Magpies have shown up. Nevertheless I remember the verse, Matthew 6:26 Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? - So why should I be disappointed, I am beyond grateful for all God has already done for me.
Thank you for that reflection, Allison! I have often connected the role of social worker/helper to that of the Holy Spirit interceding. If He intercedes for the birds, how much more will he intercede for me, one who intercedes for others. Have a blessed rest of your trip!
